Artificial intelligence occupies the front of the stage at Sibos 2025, which started on Monday, demonstrating how it went from a fashion to a key strategic objective in financial services. Participants can expect to learn more about the practical impact of AI, ethical concerns and the process of transformation of various fields of financing, in particular compliance, customer experience and infrastructure development.
The theme of the conference “The next borders of global finance” guarantees that AI is woven throughout the program, with more than 250 sessions and more than 500 expert speakers. Key subjects will include:

Innovibe, the “conference in a conference” focused on the future, will also highlight AI. The sessions will immerse themselves on subjects such as “AI culturally aligned: rethink payments in a global financial system”, exploring how various cultural perspectives shape the future of AI in payments. An “counter-current opinion” session debates if “AI should have a free agency”, the teams competing for both sides. The closure of Innovibe will even present speakers to their older and younger generated by AI to obtain new perspectives on innovation.
Finally, the German futuristic Gerd Leonhard will deliver a simple title “The next 10 years: AI, AI, AGE and the future of business, society and humanity”, discussing the potential of AI to resolve the challenges of humanity while warning against existential risks and emphasizing global collaboration and robust governance.
